About the Journal

Journal of Independent Biomedical Research is an independent publication platform for biomedical research — molecular biology, genetics and genomics, cancer biology, neuroscience, drug discovery, computational and translational research, and clinical research. It exists to make rigorous work visible when it falls outside the reach of conventional journals — independent analyses, replication attempts, negative results, hypotheses, and protocols awaiting experimental validation.

Editorial standards

Every submission is screened by the editorial office for scope, methodological clarity, declared conflicts and data availability. Publications carry an explicit research status — from Hypothesis through Experimentally Supported and Replicated — so readers can weigh the evidence accurately.

Transparency

This publication may contain independent research, computational analysis, hypotheses, or findings that have not undergone external peer review. Research status and supporting evidence are identified within each publication.

Corrections and retractions

Corrections, updates, withdrawals and retractions are displayed permanently on the affected record with the reason and effective date. Prior versions remain accessible in the version history.

Scientific discussion

Each publication hosts a moderated discussion for critique, methodological questions and replication reports. Verified researchers and authors are identified inline.
